OUR MISSION

The safeguarding of children requires a range of protocols to be implemented.  One of the many critical interventions that must be applied by all institutions who have the care of children on a permanent or temporary basis, is the legislated and regular vetting and screening of all its staff and volunteers who work with or near children.

Our role is to specifically assist institutions and organisations in getting their staff and volunteers appropriately screened. This means that we will come to your offices (or you can come to us) to take their fingerprints and to apply for a Criminal Check Certificate.  Thereafter, we will make the necessary applications to acquire your Sex Offender and Child Protection Clearance Certificates.

You are welcome to read up the legal aspects and why appropriate vetting and screening is important, the advantages and benefits of appropriate vetting and screening, and to request a booking for our services - all on this website.

It is our dream to one day see that all spaces where children frequent, are much safer for them and free from child predators and those who may wish to bring harm to the children.

Legal Requirements

Please seriously consider the implications of inappropriate social media behaviour . . .

´ How do you know your staff and volunteers DO NOT indulge in inappropriate digital and social media behaviour that could risk the safety of the children and the vulnerable in their care, as well as risking reputational damage to your organisation?

´ If you could establish where the red flags were through appropriate social media assessments (screening), would you introduce and implement this much needed protocol to up your efforts in keeping the vulnerable safe from potential harm?

If your answer is YES . . .

We are motivated by Matt 18:1-6 and in particular vs 6 which says;
"If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea."

What we mean, is that the Lord has a great concern for the welfare of His children and harming them is not an option.

Frequently asked questions

Here are some common questions about what we do and why.

If you answer YES to any of the following questions:

  • Do you work at an organization like a school, sports club, religious institution, creche, Au Pair, early learning centre, childcare centre, or any other space where children gather?
  • Do you manage anyone who works with children in any manner?
  • Do you transport other people’s children regularly?
  • Do you volunteer to work or assist in spaces which children frequent – like schools and churches?

THEN YOU DO!

  • Any person who has reasonable grounds to suspect child abuse, can report it.
  • Reports can be made to a police official, a social worker, or a place like Child Welfare.
  • Reporting is discretionary for the general public, but for mandated professionals, it is a legal requirement
  • If it is found that you are on one of the registers (you have previously been found guilty of an offense) it is possible that you may lose your job immediately.
  • If you are the employer and a person was not screened and now is found to have committed an offense you are also guilty and can face imprisonment.

A great place to start is to run our Self-Audit. You complete all the questions and we will provide you with the results. Most people don't realise where they are vulnerable.

Why we do what we do

Jesus called for them, saying; “Permit the children to come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."
